June - July 2024 - Magic Fairy Tales Trilogy Released
Following the release of Eduard Glumov's Fairy Tales, Eduard Glumov expanded the project with the Russian-language trilogy Magic Fairy Tales (Волшебные сказки Parts I, II & III).
The three albums combine music written for theatre productions, children's performances and fantasy stories, together with newly composed pieces created especially for the project.
The trilogy includes both revised versions of earlier works and completely new compositions inspired by fairy tales, folklore and classic literary characters.
Together, the four albums represent one musical universe, created over many years for the stage and now available for listeners around the world.

More than twenty-five years after it was first written, Aktobe was officially released as a digital single, bringing one of Eduard Glumov's most important early works to streaming platforms for the first time.
The song was composed in 1999 to celebrate the 130th anniversary of Aktobe, with lyrics by Beken Serikbayev. It won the Grand Prix at the city songwriting competition dedicated to the anniversary and, later that year, was proclaimed the official anthem of Aktobe by Mayor Yermek Sagindikov. For many years, it was performed at official celebrations, schools, and on local television and radio, becoming one of the city’s best-known musical symbols.

Eduard Glumov released the instrumental album Eduard Glumov's Fairy Tales, bringing together a collection of original compositions written over several years for different theatrical productions, stage performances and fantasy-themed projects.
Rather than being created as a single album, these short instrumental pieces were originally composed for individual stories, characters and scenes. Together they form a musical journey through a world of fairy tales, legends and imagination.
The album features miniature cinematic compositions inspired by magical characters and folklore, including Baba Yaga, Fairy Queen, Snake, Finist the Bright Falcon and many others.

The song, featuring lead vocals by Congolese singer Sheryl Gambo, brings together musicians from Congo, Kazakhstan, Switzerland, and the United States while drawing attention to the global water crisis.

Written together with American lyricist Z. Mulls, I’m Not Your Friend was selected as the overall winner from more than 15,000 entries submitted from over 100 countries, earning the competition's top honor and a Grand Prize.
The victory attracted international attention to Eduard’s songwriting and opened the door to new collaborations with artists, producers and publishers around the world.
